VISION

Every child born in this country should get the best possible specialist care, wherever he or she is, through the members of IAP.

MISSION

Capacity building in the specialty of Pediatrics and all its sub specialties, through different academic courses and focused training programs for the members of the Academy and other personnel associated with child health.

FUNCTIONS

• To ensure standard and quality in different courses, Fellowships, Certificate courses and other academic courses offered by IAP and its subspecialty chapters.
• Formulation of nationally relevant appropriate syllabi and skill sets for Undergraduate and Postgraduate teaching and recommending the same to NBE, MCI, NMC, UGC, various universities,(including deemed universities, colleges), and other academic and educational bodies.
• To formulate and suggest and promote a high-quality nationally relevant research and publication activities in the field of Pediatrics at different levels
• To formulate and suggest academic activities to IAP and all its sub specialty chapters for short and long term.
